Students of the mixed program of employment and training of "Socio-Health Care for Dependent People in Social Institutions" already practice as caregivers in the socio-health centers of the municipality of Totana, according to sources from the Department of Development and Employment of the City Council.
After a period of training, on July 3, PMEF-MY students began working in the municipal work centers;
And in this way, they are intended to put into practice what has been learned in class with those that approach the contents such as health care, hygiene, care and psychosocial support.
Currently they are distributed in four dependent centers of the City council of Totana and in the residence "the Purísima".
They are distributed as follows: at the "La Purísima" residence (8 students), at the "Balsa Vieja" Senior Center (1 student), at the Alzheimer's Day Center (1 student), at Day Center "José Moyá" (3 students) and in the Day Center "Princesa Letizia" (2 students) where they pay attention to elderly people and people with disabilities, intellectual and sensorial.
