The Department of Sports reminds that tomorrow, July 13, the registration deadline to participate in the Popular Race "Fiestas de Santiago" Totana, which is held this Saturday, July 15, from 7.30 pm in the different categories , Within the program of sports activities of the bosses' celebrations.
The sports event is organized by the Department of Sports, in collaboration with the Federation of Athletics of the Region of Murcia
The route will be on an urban circuit, being the exit and goal will be located in the plaza of the Constitution of this locality, where will be located the station of provisioning.
No registration will be made after the deadline nor on the day of the race;
And once the registration is accepted, the fee will not be refundable.
The test will be controlled by personnel of the organization and judges of the Athletics Federation of the Region of Murcia, so that time control will be performed by a specialized timing company.
The delivery of riders will take place in the Plaza de la Constitución, starting at 18:30 hours, and up to five minutes before the start of each test.
Likewise, for the collection of rucksacks, it will be mandatory, in the case of the absolute test, to present the DNI or official document that establishes the identity;
And no runners without riders will be allowed to participate for safety reasons, as they will not be covered by the organization's insurance.
Participating riders will have at their disposal a service of showers at the end of the test, at the Municipal Pavilion of Sports "Manolo Ibáñez", as well as a service in the departure area and goal, which will be governed by the number of dorsal.
Likewise, an adequate medical device will be organized according to the current legislation.
Trophy delivery
The organization will award trophies for the top three categories from Benjamin to veterans, both male and female;
And trophies for the first three absolutes in the 5 kilometers in both males and females.
In addition, trophies will be given for the first five places in the 5 kilometers, in both men's and women's;
Although in order to qualify for these prizes, local athletes must register as such, and the organization may request the DNI or certificate of registration.
Similarly, medals will be given to all participants in the minibenjamín and prebenjamín categories, as these races are participatory without classification.
And a technical shirt will be given to all participants in the 5-kilometer test.
All participants will be included in a sports accident insurance policy and will be covered in the event of any accidents that occur as a result of the development of the race.
Last year 268 athletes participated, a figure that we want to overcome in this new edition.
