Last Saturday, June 3, they met to share their joy and friendship, as well as to remember experiences lived in the midst of adolescence, a group of high school students that coincided in the late 1950s at the academy of Don Cristobal Andreu, in The square of El Ramblar.
Many of them had begun their formation in the Santiago school, a private academy that, impelled by the presbítero gift Andrés Caruana, was located in the dependencies of the convent of the Capuchin parents.
After this first experience, some of the students went to the recently inaugurated "Juan de la Cierva" labor institute and others continued their training in the shadow of Don Cristobal.
Those years, full of hopes, illusions and challenges were coming alive, forging realities throughout the work task that each one of them has played.
Now, 58 years later, they have had the opportunity to enjoy the emotions that united them at that time.
Although this is the third year of the experience, it has been the most fruitful in terms of participation, since people who have lived outside Totana and the Region have been able to attend for several decades, some of them from Madrid and Seville.
Experiences of this nature deeply excite the heart, help to savor the greatness of life, but also offer a channel of possibilities to give thanks for the main value of friendship.
A day intensely shared by 24 friends who have preserved, despite time and distance, was worth a friendship forged in a vital stage of life and has been greatly enhanced by this initiative.
Memories and emotions that each present is imprinted in your heart.
