The Association of Rare Diseases D'Genes has started its Family Respite Summer 2017 program this week, which will run from Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. during the months of July and August.
The program offers an offer to cover these days of vacations and includes sports activities, visits to the park and different pools, storytelling, crafts, workshops and excursions to nearby municipalities like Aledo, Aguilas or Murcia.
The Family Respite of D'Genes was born with the objective of offering the affected people and their families a space of meeting and leisure for the first and free time for the latter, through a varied calendar of activities.
In addition, the space of coexistence becomes an experience with principles of integration, respect, coexistence and help.
Participants have enjoyed in these first sessions with workshops and varied crafts always under the supervision of young volunteers.
To participate in this program, in July and August, there are still places, so that interested parties can contact the Multidisciplinary Center "Celia Carrión Pérez de Tudela" located on Calle San Cristobal de Totana or by phone 968 07 69 20 or 696 14 17 08. The price for the partners has been set at 100 euros per month, while for non-members will be 160 euros.
