Students of the mixed program of Employment-Training in the specialty of "Socio-Health Care for Dependent People in Social Institutions" recently made a didactic visit to the Torre Nazaret Foundation and the San Pedro Shop Asilo Foundation, located in the city of Cartagena.
The objective of the visit was to bring to reality the knowledge acquired through training and where the director of Torre Nazaret explained to the students the operation of the center, which is a permanent residence for those affected by HIV / AIDS in the terminal phase or with Advanced disease and people with disabilities.
The San Pedro Shop Asilo Foundation, a not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to promote the social integration of people in need of assistance, with a special emphasis on training, promotion, assistance and social integration.
All costs associated with this visit are borne by the subsidy granted to the City of Totana (Department of Employment) and thanks to which 15 students are being trained in the social and health specialty.
