The Council of Infrastructures of the City of Totana has asked the General Directorate of Highways to proceed with the cleaning of ditches and stripping of the shoulders on several secondary roads of the municipality, which are autonomous competence.
The mayor, Andrés García, this week communicated the director general of Roads, José Antonio Fernández Llladó, in order to reiterate the need to respond to the demands made a few weeks ago this Department for the execution of these actions.
The routes that have been required for cleaning are RM-C7 (La Huerta), RM-502 (La Santa-Aledo, including the northern ring road), RM-609 (Totana-Mazarrón motorway) and RM-315 Old Totana-El Paretón), that communicate the urban helmet with these delegations.
In addition, special emphasis has been placed on cleaning the El Paretón-Cantareros crossing.
Operators of the Autonomous Community usually carry out this work of clearing the roads temporarily in the vicinity of the urban area, using manual and mechanical means, which includes cleaning of ditches and shoulders and the cutting of shrub vegetation from the edges that invade the roads .
