The Department of Finance has provided budget coverage to invoices and expenses for a total amount of 948,758.56 euros corresponding to previous years through the extrajudicial recognition of credits.
This was unanimously approved by the ordinary plenary meeting last June, which is in addition to another plenary proposal last April, in which it was agreed to cover non-credit expenses amounting to € 949,150, according to the Councilor Branch, Ana María Cánovas.
The mayor said that if this case was not processed we would face a situation in which we would have companies that could not collect the services they have done to the City and expenses, especially Social Security, which we can not recognize in the budgets.
In this regard, he pointed out that it was a question of providing budget coverage in the amount of 298,318 euros for the payment to companies for services rendered;
And 650,440 euros corresponding to payments made that correspond to the interests of a judgment;
And the rest are payments made to the Social Security, a sentence of a worker, deferral, special agreement of over 55, arrears and current quotas.
In addition, the Councilor for Finance has explained that these Social Security payments are "priority", since, he said, "if not aware, we would block when requesting aid and subsidies for the benefit of the City."
