Musical, cultural, gastronomic and sports activities make up the main attraction of the program of activities of the patron saint festivities of Santiago'2017, which is aimed at all audiences and will continue until the end of this month of July.
The mayor, Andrés García, and Councilor of Festivities, Agustín Gonzalo Martínez, have presented the list of events that will be celebrated during the next three weeks, concentrated mainly during the weekends, and that has a budget of 12,000 euros.
The Department of Festejos has published 4,500 hand-held programs, which illustrates a beautiful photograph of the Fuente Juan de Uzeta and the parish of Santiago and the City of Totana in the background;
Which will be distributed starting this Tuesday morning.
The activity programs will be distributed in the offices of the Department of Festivities and Tourism of the City of Totana, the Citizen Service (SAC) and the "La Cárcel" Sociocultural Center of this town.
The Councilor of Celebrations has described the program as "extensive, varied and austere" and added that it goes in the "budget stabilization line" of the previous ones;
And thanked the associations for their participation to improve it by expanding the number of activities.
For his part, the mayor has emphasized that it is a program that combines festive and musical activities with cultural and has thanked the effort of the Council to set up an attractive program of celebration with this difficult economic situation of the municipal coffers.
Both have congratulated the social fabric for their collaboration in developing this program and have invited neighbors as well as visitors to participate in the activities scheduled until July 30.
