The Day Center for Intellectual Disability "José Moyá" and the Day Center for People with Mental Illness, both from the City of Totana, have organized a Medieval Festival in the outdoor garden located in the space shared by both centers.
This activity has been part of one of the projects carried out in the "José Moyá" Center, dedicated to the Middle Ages.
It is a project that has been worked during this last quarter and in which there have been workshops for the construction of musical instruments and relaxation, stained glass, storytelling, magic games, medieval music and castles, and so on.
For the party was conditioned and set the outdoor garden, with the installation of three corners: the Muslim corner, the Christian corner and the Jewish corner.
The users of both centers wore characteristic costumes for the occasion handcrafted and participated in a large number of games and activities prepared for this special activity.
Throughout the day, users of the José Moyá Day Center and the Day Center for People with Mental Illness enjoyed the characteristic music of the time, games and performances through which they have worked important skills such as emotional and artistic expression , Social and communicative skills, enjoyment of leisure and healthy leisure time as well as knowledge and rapprochement with other cultures.
