The Municipal Council of Citizen Participation yesterday held a session in the plenary hall to present the aids from the European FEADER funds and report on the new local development strategies and explain the most relevant aspects of existing aid.
The mayor, Juan José Cánovas, the first deputy mayor, Andrés García, and numerous members of the municipal corporation participated in this day, in which the entities "Integral" and "Campoder" presented their participatory local development strategies.
This aid from Community EAFRD funds is forfeited both for projects promoted by private individuals and by the Town Hall itself and other organizations.
These are being managed in the Region of Murcia through the local action groups "Integral" and "Campoder", groups to which Totana belongs, since part of the municipal term belongs to one and the rest to another.
Both entities have prepared their corresponding Participatory Local Development Strategy (ELDP), which establishes, along with the rest of the regulation, the Action Plan that establishes and develops the lines of action, the eligible projects and the beneficiaries of the aid .
The aid is, among other lines, support for improving the competitiveness and sustainability of microenterprises and support for the promotion of rural tourism.
During the presentation day, which was attended by more than fifty entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs and representatives of associations and neighborhood groups, were the manager of "Campoder" Miguel Buendia, and the technician of "Integral", Jesus Ruiz Béjar , As well as technicians of the councils of Economic Development, Promotion and Employment, Citizen Participation and Industry of the commissary totanero.
