The Information and Environmental Integration Service of the General Environment Directorate has informed the City of Totana that the General Municipal Urban Planning Plan (PGMOU) maintains the validity of the Environmental Impact Statement (DIA) issued in 2011 for the Final approval of the document.
On May 3, the legal services of the Town Council requested a report to the Autonomous Community on the validity and timeliness of the Declaration of Environmental Impact issued on January 18, 2011 by the General Directorate of Planning, Evaluation and Environmental Control relative to the General Plan of Totana.
For this reason, now that the definitive approval of this Plan is being processed, it has been informed that it "currently maintains all its effects, and its determinations must be taken into account and incorporated into the definitive approval of the PGMOU."
This request for the issuance of a report was made to the Autonomous Community after the public information period was questioned about the term of validity of said Environmental Impact Statement.
The consultation was carried out as part of the procedure for the approval of the General Municipal Plan of Ordinance of Totana, which, at that time, was in the stage of rectifying deficiencies to provisional approval.
