The Totana Musical Group will organize a Summer School during the month of July, with the collaboration of the Council of Youth of the City of Totana, in order to bring the teaching and cultural music to children in a playful and attractive way Of this locality.
The Councilor for Youth, Inmaculada Blázquez, the president of the Totana Musical Group, Juan Carrión, and the coordinator of this Summer School, Pedro Marín, presented this activity that is part of the program of leisure activities and free time Program "Totana Verano'2017".
Participants will perform workshops on instrument construction, body movement and expression (body percussion), song interpretation, group instrumentation with formal and everyday objects, instrument masterclass, among other activities.
The Summer School will be held at the Music Academy, at the Sociocultural Center "La Cárcel", from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.;
And establish two levels for enrollees: level I, for children from 6 to 8 years;
And level II, from 8 to 12 years, respectively.
Entries can be made until June 25 for those interested in the first two weeks of July and until July 10 for people who want to participate in the second half of July.
The price of the Summer School is 65 euros the fortnight and 105 euros the full month;
And a discount is set for brothers and students of the School of Music of Totana.
The promoters explained that it is not necessary to have musical training or special abilities to participate in this activity, but only to have an interest in music and want to have fun and entertain with it.
