The swimmer totanero José Miguel Cano will participate next June 10 in the Marathon Swin 21 kilometers from the Island of Tabarca to the beach of the Postiguet of Alicante.
Cano will support with his strokes in this test to the Association of Rare Diseases D'Genes.
This totanero swimmer will support the association giving visibility to D'Genes and putting in value the work done by this reference entity in the Region of Murcia in the care of people and families living with rare diseases.
It is not the first time that José Miguel Cano shows his support for D'Genes, since two summers ago with another partner, Pepe Martínez "El Pichi", fulfilled the challenge of crossing the Strait of Gibraltar to swim, an initiative in solidarity with the Rare diseases.
The feat consisted in that occasion to cross to swim the distance between Tarifa and Punta Almansa, in total 19 kilometers.
