The program of work and family life "Holidays 3.0", organized by the Department of Youth and the Collective for Social Promotion "El Candil" Totana, was offered this year with a total of 100 places in each of the Three different shifts arranged, whose registration period is open as of today June 5.
The Councilor for Youth, Inmaculada Blázquez, and the representative of "El Candil", Alba Cánovas, presented this initiative which aims to become a conciliation service for the holiday periods of school children, basically between 3 and 12 years.
This year the service period is again offered for the third consecutive year, so that the service will be from June 26 to August 14, inclusive.
Entries for the different shifts can be made from 26 to 30 June (25 euros), from 3 to 31 July (100 euros) and from 1 to 14 August (50 euros);
And aims to be a clear support for working families.
The project will be held in schools "Santiago" and "La Cruz", from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 2:00 p.m., so that up to a hundred seats are offered for each of the shifts.
In addition, the registration period is until June 16 for those interested in the months of June and July;
And until July 21 for those who want to participate in the first two weeks of August.
The selection criteria will be prioritizing the inscriptions with the longest participation period;
And then following registration order;
So that to formalize the inscription in this activity is essential the payment of the established quota, as said the mayor.
During the program the participants will enjoy playful activities, school reinforcement, creative and plastic expression workshops, games and excursions, trips to municipal swimming pools and other group dynamics, among others.
The councilman of the branch thanked "El Candil" that, once again, have opted for this type of initiatives to reconcile work and family life with the invaluable support of the municipal government;
And encouraged working families to take advantage of this service in which participants will enjoy numerous activities.
The representative of "El Candil" thanked the City Council for their collaboration for another year in this project, which aims to create a playful and educational space in which children are the protagonists.
As explained by the spokesperson of "El Candil", the participants will be divided into two groups: children from 3 to 6 years of Early Childhood Education;
And from 6 to 12 years in Primary Education in order to make the teams more dynamic and according to their needs.
