The Local Citizen Security Board today addressed the security and emergency arrangements to celebrate the main social and religious events that will take place on the occasion of this year's Holy Week;

And more specifically those that are celebrated between the 9 and 16 of April coinciding with the processional parades.

This was chaired by the first deputy mayor, Andres Garcia, and was attended by the mayor, Juan José Cánovas, City Council and Citizens Security and Emergency, Víctor Balsas and Agustín Gonzalo Martínez, and representatives of the Delegation Of the Government in Murcia, Civil Guard, Local Police and Civil Protection.

The attendees have reviewed the staff of the Security and Emergency Forces and Bodies that will be present at each of the main events in order to cut streets and watch over the safety of the passers-by.

The Civil Guard will reinforce the service needs of the Local Police during these days of greater competition of people and vehicles in the streets and public spaces.

In addition, it will be requested to the Murcian Health Service the reinforcement in the Health Center of Totana by health professionals.

Similarly, on the part of the Municipal Civil Protection Service will be elaborated, as in previous years, the Special Plan of Easter for this exercise.

Likewise, it is going to be requested the reinforcement in the night of Holy Thursday to Good Friday of the device with personnel in Totana of the Units of Citizen Security of the Command (USECIC), that are units of the Civil Guard formed in some headwaters of Command , Whose objective of the unit is focused on having a group that responds more quickly to the delinquency problems of an area at specific times to guarantee citizen safety.

Likewise, all the cleaning and maintenance of the city have been coordinated for these days.

Soon there will be a meeting promoted by the Mayor's Office with the Civil Guard and Local Police to address the issue of the bottle on the public road during these days.
