The Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Bajo Guadalentín (CEBAG) will hold an internal general meeting this Thursday night, with the participation of the Directors of the Member Associations, to discuss and adopt agreements on the position of the Confederation of Companies The General Plan of Urban Planning (PGMO) of Totana.
CEGAG and its member organizations submitted in December 2014 more than 11,500 allegations to the provisional approval of the Plan proposed by the PP with the vote against Izquierda Unida.
Since CEBAG has been openly criticizing that the Mayor and United Left have failed to fulfill their commitment to citizens, signed in June 2015, in which they pledged not to raise taxes and to hold a referendum or popular survey on the General Plan.
As explained by the representatives of CEBAG in the assembly, neither this written promise has been fulfilled, neither the Mayor has convened either the Citizen Participation Council, the Urbanism Advisory Council, or even the Working Group proposed by the Mayor himself to inform The corrections or errors produced.
Meanwhile, according to CEBAG, the PSOE and the Councilors of the Government Team linked to this party are openly opposed to the proposals of the Mayor and IU, because they are considered a serious prejudice for thousands of citizens.
CEBAG is requesting the political groups in recent days that - regardless of the assessments that merit the content of the Plan - the public exposure period should be extended by at least one month, so that all citizens can assess how they are affected by New version of Plan proposed and supported by the Mayor and IU, to thousands of urban or rustic properties that could be left in an irregular situation, so that they can decide whether or not to present the appropriate individual claims.
