Workshops, informative talks, concerts, coexistence and acts of homage are the program of activities organized this year by the Department of Equality of the City of Totana, with the collaboration of associations and social groups, on the occasion of the International Women's Day in this Municipality, which will be held basically throughout this week.
The list of activities takes place, especially, from today 6 and until Saturday 11 March, although others will take place scattered in the calendar throughout March and even April.
Until 13 March will be illuminated, as has been customary in recent years, the facade of the City Council and will be placed on the balcony the flag that symbolizes equality as a gesture commemorating this anniversary.
The program starts on Monday, March 6, with the workshop "We are the same, we enjoy together", from 16:00 to 19:00 hours, in the social premises of El Parral, social housing in the street Argentina and CEIP Luis Pérez Rueda ", directed to groups of educational reinforcement.
This activity will be repeated addressed to the same public on Wednesday, March 8.
In addition, on Tuesday, March 7, this same workshop will take place again, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., in the former CEIP "La Cruz", aimed at students of auxiliary activities of nurseries and gardens, in both cases Organized by the Collective for Social Promotion "El Candil".
That same day, at 19:00 hours, will be the talk "Equality in daily life", at the headquarters of the Association of Housewives (former courts), organized by the Association of Housewives, Consumers and Users of The Three Hail Marys of Totana.
On Wednesday, March 8, the Women's Personal Defense Workshop will be held in the School Room, given by the technical instructor titled Aikido and Personal Defense, José Valero Molino, which is organized by the PSOE of Totana and with the collaboration Of the Department of Sports and the Aikido Club of this locality.

On that day, at 19:30 hours, the talk-colloquium "Micromachisms, violence and everyday harassment" will be held at the social center of San Roque, given by the specialist in Budgets with a Gender Perspective and a doctor at the University of Murcia , Gloria Alarcón, organized by the PSOE de Totana.
Institutional act Women's Day
The institutional act of the Women's Day will be on Saturday, March 11, starting at 12:00 pm, in the theater of the Center for Sociocultural "La Cárcel", which will pay homage to the women totaneras and entity of this year.
During the event there will also be a recital of poetry by women totaneras, awarding of the diplomas to the honorees and of the prizes of the 1st Contest of Photography with Mobile for Equality and the performance of the musical group "Entre dos", that will close the act .

More activities
