The Department of Sports reports that last Wednesday 22 February took place in Yecla the Regional Final of Playing Athletics School Sports in the category Benjamin, organized by the General Directorate of Sports of the Region of Murcia, where they participated the College La Cruz In male mode, and Reina Sofía College in the female mode.
This competition in its first phase consisted of six tests: lateral p, length p, javelin throw, speed, ball throw and relay race.
The team of Colegio La Cruz was formed by Sergio Cifuentes Sevilla, Darikson Josué Hernández Vargas, Rodrigo Molino Castillo, Mario Riquelme Sánchez and Lucas Valverde González, and they finished fifth in their group, which was formed by the following schools: Carmen (Cartagena), Conde Campillos (Cehegín), Las Herratillas (Yecla), Our Lady of the Angels (Murcia) and Our Lady of Dolores (Torre Pacheco).
While the Colegio Reina Sofia team was formed by Ingrid García Gea, María Ponce Ramos, Ania López Blaya and Ainhoa ​​Mora Sevilla, who finished sixth in their group, consisting of the following schools: María Inmaculada (Águilas), Sagrada Family (Cartagena), Welcome Conejero (Los Alcázares), Anita Arnao (Mula) and Our Lady of the Angels (Murcia).
