Since January 20, 2017 has been giving the TRAINING "AUXILIARY ACTIVITIES OF COMMERCE" in the facilities that the Collective for Social Promotion El Candil has in the municipality of Totana.
This occupational training is carried out from the Project Labor 2.0: Juvenile Guarantee, carried out by the Collective for the Social Promotion El Candil.
It is financed by the European Social Fund under the Youth Employment Operational Program and by the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, through the Murciano Institute of Social Action (IMAS).
The project has its field of action in the five municipalities that make up the Bajo Guadalentín region (Totana, Aledo, Alhama de Murcia, Librilla and Mazarrón) with the group of young people aged between 16 and under 30, beneficiaries of the project. National System of Youth Guarantee that neither study, work nor are carrying out any training at the moment.
It is an initiative of a socio-labor nature, in which it tries to facilitate the labor insertion of those young people who are interested in participating actively in the change of their unemployment situation and that they find special difficulties.
The "Auxiliary Activities for Trade" training will last 150 hours and a total of 17 young people have started it.
They will receive training in the following modules: New technologies Office Suite Level I (44 hours);
Auxiliary operations at the point of sale (90 hours);
Gender Equality and Equal Opportunities (8 hours);
Sex education and prevention of drug use (8 hours).
Through training, young people will acquire skills to carry out auxiliary operations of replenishment, provision and conditioning of products at the point of sale and will approach them to work in professions such as: hypermarket replenishers, reponedor / a Proximity, on foot, packers / as-packagers, hand-held, order preparer and / or assistant commercial clerk.
Through the project Labor 2.0: Youth Guarantee is intended to support, inform, train and guide young participants interested in improving their employability and socio-labor insertion or get them to resume studies / training to improve their future employability.
To this end, the young people participating in the project will be accompanied by an individualized and consensual process of orientation, individualized tutoring, competency workshops, occupational training ... thus developing their skills, potentialities and strategies.
From the project, contacts are made with companies in the region in order to know the jobs demanded, in order to design the training according to the current demand of the labor market, therefore, as an important part of this project we feel the Entrepreneurs, needing their collaboration in order to achieve the ultimate goal of this project, that the young people are inserted labor.
It also maintains a coordinated work with the Regional Service of Employment and Training and with the youth area of ​​the different municipalities responsible for the Youth Guarantee, as well as with the professionals of the different Social Services Centers.
The first edition of the project began in December 2015 and ended in September 2016. It lasted ten months where a total of 55 young people from the region of Bajo Guadalentín were able to benefit from the actions that were carried out between they;
Individualized tutorials of social and labor orientation, two workshops of key competences, social, pre - work, two occupational training, "Auxiliary activities of nurseries, gardens and centers of gardening" and "Auxiliary Activities of Mozo de Almacén", both with practices included in companies Collaborators.
A course on "Sexual Education for Young People" was held as a preventive measure.
There was also a course on new technologies "Tics as tools in the search of employment" and various cultural, sports and social activities, among them;
Walking path "Senda del Agua" in Totana, visit to the City of Cartagena and the Regional Assembly, visit to the city of Murcia to know its resources, Rafting Rafting down the River Segura ... Several visits were made and made to real working environments Related to the training given to young people, where they could observe how the professionals in which they were being trained were carried out.
During the course of the project, 15 young people were able to get a job and 17 decided to start some educational / training activities.
This new edition of the Project began in October 2016.
