After 3 weeks of competition, with more than 170 registered in all categories, last Sunday 12 February concluded the XVII Open Tennis Promesas "Ciudad de Totana" with the dispute of the finals.
In this edition we have had a great participation with players from all over the Region of Murcia, Almería, Albacete and Alicante up to a total of 174 registered in all categories.
The level of the tournament continues to be high, highlighting players with great results nationally and internationally as the Champion in the category Alevín José A. Hernández (3 ranked in the World Cup 2016 in Sub-10 category played in Croatia) or the Champion Sub 18 Alba King (Sub-champion of Infantile Spain last year and member of the Spanish team that will dispute the Cto of the World Sub 15).
Among the players totaneros we highlight the results of Angela Ortiz, in the category of Benjamín Femenino, which almost reaches the Final losing in a tough match of semifinals in 3 sets and Alberto López Molino and Javier Martinez who reached the Quarter Finals in Men's Under 18.
From Totana Tennis Club we thank the councilors Isabel Molino and Carlos Ballester for accompanying us in the awards ceremony as well as the President of the Tennis Club Totana Alfonso Segura and the Treasurer María José Cánovas.
