The Council of Services to the City and Infrastructures of the City of Totana has carried out work of repainting in the facade of the School of Lébor and other similar actions in other educational centers of the municipality, that had been requested to this municipal department.
The works started during the period of the Christmas holidays taking advantage of the absence of students in the classrooms and have been extended during the month of January, according to the councilman of the branch, Víctor Balsas, who has visited some of the infrastructures in order to Check the status of them.
Balsas explained that in recent weeks we have worked in the educational centers of the municipality in order to respond to the numerous requests that come to us, and others that were already claimed or claimed before the current municipal government team.
To these actions carried out in the last weeks in the School of Lébor, the investment for works of painting, for the amount of about 2,000 euros, in the schools "Santa Eulalia", "Tierno Galván" and "Santiago".
In the first, they have been painted in the nursery schoolyard;
And in the second and third, has been reviewed the urban furniture and the demarcation of the sports track.
In another order of business, there have also been repairs to the roof of the municipal nursery in order to solve the problem of leaks that has been damaging for many years to this installation and the normal development of its activity.
In addition, the change of the doors of the second floor in the "Santa Eulalia" CEIP was completed, completing the renovation of the same, with an investment of approximately 5,000 euros.
