The Department of Sports reports that last Saturday January 28 took place in Molina de Segura the First Regional School Chess Sport Day, organized by the General Directorate of Sports of the Region of Murcia, which involved fifteen totaneros school.
The students belonged to the schools "Santiago", "Tierno Galván", "La Milagrosa" and "Juan de la Cierva", in the categories Alevín and Open.
In this first day, the participants played a total of five matches.
The next appointment for all of them will be on Saturday, February 11, also in Molina de Segura, where the Regional School Chess Final will take place.
As for the results, we must highlight the third place in the Alevín category by Carmen García Requena (Tierno Galván), and in the Open category the 3rd place also of Juan José Vera Pargada and the 5th place of Martín Otalora Berenguel , Both from the IES "Juan de la Cierva".
As for the other totaneros participants, the final results were as follows: CEIP "Tierno Galvan", Gabriel Valverde Garcia 35 °, Carlos García Tudela 45 °, Héctor Cánovas Cánovas 75 ° and Gonzalo Cánovas Cánovas 16 °;
And of the CEIP "Santiago", Joel Espejo Moro 57 °, Jaime Crespo Cánovas 65 °, Guillermo Aledo Morales 69 °, Alvaro Gómez Pérez 71 ° and Francisco Martínez Legs 74 °.
Already in the Open category, the students of the IES "Juan de la Cierva" who participated were Cindy Ceron Amaguaya 11th and Trinidad Ceron Amaguaya 30 °;
While Ricardo Gomez Hernandez (La Milagrosa) finished in 16th place
