The Department of Sports reports that last Saturday January 14 took place in Lorca South Zone Day of Table Tennis School Sports organized by the General Directorate of Sports of the Region of Murcia, where the male youth team of the IES "Juan de la Cierva" of Totana.

The team was formed by the following players: Domingo Méndez García, Santiago Méndez García, Juan Pedro Sánchez Torres and Samuel Martínez Sánchez.

The totanero team faced in this competition with the Lorca teams of IES "Ibáñez Martín", "Ciudad del Sol" School and IES "Pedanías Altas", finally getting the first position and thus qualifying for the Regional Table Tennis Final Of Sports School, which will also take place in Lorca, on Saturday 4 February.

In the same competition, in addition, there will also be three other teams totaneros that have also directly obtained their place in this regional competition, such as the young team of the "Santiago" School, the fry team of the "Santa Eulalia" School and the women's women's team Of the IES "Juan de la Cierva".
