Friday December 30 at 20.30, the Shire of Guadalentín Jeunesses Musicales Orchestra, will give a charity concert in the parish of Santiago de Totana organized by the public association of faithful "Procession of Our Lady of Mercy".
Christmas is a good time to enjoy music and at the same time perform a work of charity that helps those most in need and allow these days to be happy for everyone.
Admission to the concert will be free.
Anyone who wishes can collaborate by providing non-perishable food or economic donation.
Caritas parish of Santiago will allocate the contributions collected to the families and associations most in need (Homeless, Child Crib, Nazaret Youth Program without employment, etc.)
The Juventudes Musicales Orquesta Guadalentín Orchestra was born in response to the demand in our region of entities that support and promote the career of our young musicians.
Within Juventudes Musicales de España, we continue with our journey with a cycle of recitals in which we can highlight the CHRISTMAS CONCERT OF THE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA YOUTH MUSICAL GUADALENTÃN.
Our young musicians, instrumentalists, need a framework in which to cultivate and share the musical and artistic potential that they have been developing in their musical studies.
From here we want to offer you the possibility to carry it out with the creation of this young orchestra.
Thanks to the effort, work and enthusiasm of both the musicians and their director, we can enjoy this concert, which is only the beginning of a great project.
The director, Ginés Martínez Vera, finished his master's studies at the upper conservatory Manuel Masotti Littel in Murcia with José Miguel Rodilla and the higher jazz studios in Madrid with Félix Santos Guindel.
Later he has completed courses with Jorma Panula, Bruno Aprea, Ricardo Frizza and Atso Almila among others.
Among his prizes include two silver medals at the Global Music Awards as well as the 2005 Young Murciano Award for his artistic career awarded by the Ministry of Presidency.
