The Department of Sports reports that last Saturday, December 17, took place in the School Room, the Local Phase of Badminton School Sports, organized by the Department of Sports and Badminton Club, which had the participation of 72 School children of the different schools of the locality, pertaining to the categories fry, infantile, cadet and juvenile, as much in masculine as feminine modality.
The final winners in the different categories were: Guillermo Martínez Sánchez (San Cristóbal Aledo) and Lucía Valenzuela Alcaraz (La Milagrosa), in alevín;
Javier Moreno Cánovas (Prado Mayor) and Laura García Marín (Prado Mayor), in children;
Casey Clatworthy Sánchez (Juan de la Cierva) and Sofia Márquez Ponce (Prado Mayor), in cadet;
And Abdeljalal El Baghdadi (Prado Mayor), in juvenile category.
The competition concluded with the awarding of trophies to the first three classified in each of the categories, by the City Councilor for City Services, Victor Balsas Cánovas;
And by a representative of the Totana Badminton Club, Pedro Sánchez.
In addition, the best teams will have the opportunity to participate in the South Zone Regional Day of Badminton School Sports, organized by the General Sports Department of the Region of Murcia.
