The Local Government Board has recently approved the bases of the II Christmas Showcase Competition "Totana'2016, organized by the Council of Celebrations and aims to promote the creativity of merchants when presenting their establishments and products during the Next Christmas parties.
The initiative aims to make these more attractive to the neighbors and customers that help to create a special festive atmosphere, on dates so marked, on the streets of the city.
In the contest, will be able to participate all those commercial establishments located in the municipality of Totana, independently of the product that offer to the consumer.
In addition, the decoration of the shop windows has to be directly related to the environment typical of Christmas parties, valuing aspects such as artistic creation (originality, ingenuity and artistic wealth);
Used materials;
composition;
Effort and diligence in the execution of the works.
In order to participate in the competition, it is necessary to submit the registration application between November 24 and December 15, until 14:00 hours, in the Municipal Registry of Totana City Hall.
The jury will visit the registered establishments, on 19 and 20 December 2016, during the opening hours of business;
And this one will be formed by the Councilor of Festivities, Agustín Gonzalo Martínez, or person in whom delegate and people recognized in the matter.
Likewise, a prize of 100 euros will be awarded, and the jury will also be able to award recognition awards that it deems appropriate.
The award ceremony will take place on December 21 at 7:00 pm at the award-winning establishment.
