The X Raiguero Gang Meeting will be held this Sunday, November 13, and in which act will be awarded the "IX Golden Pimentón" award to the former Minister of Environment, Cristina Narbona, whose act will be attended by municipal authorities.
The meeting, which is organized by the association "Let's start walking" of El Raiguero Bajo and the association of "Rural Women" of this hamlet, will start at 12:00 noon with the reception and welcome to the participating gangs and a lunch with Ground paprika cake;
Before the later mass that will take place in the hermitage from the 13:00 hours.
At 13:30 hours, a tribute will be paid to the elderly people of the hamlet, in this case, Jose Garro Ortiz and Ana María Vidal García, as well as the delivery of the aforementioned award to the former representative of the Government of Spain, who was Minister from April 2004 to the same month of 2008 as president José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero.
From 14:00 hours will be the chaotic food and at 16:00 hours will resume the performance of the participating gangs, in this case, Cuadrilla de Zarzadilla de Totana, Cuadrilla de El Paretón, Auroros de Lorca and hostess Squad of the Raiguero.
The meeting has the collaboration of the Department of Culture.
