The Local Government Board has recently approved the proposal of Councillor for Social Welfare to facilitate access of children with special educational needs physiotherapy services aquatic therapy physiotherapist at the facilities of Sports, Health and Leisure "Move" Totana.
This initiative is carried out considering that from the physiotherapy service being provided in schools in Totana to students with special educational needs, has identified the need to extend it to cases with a greater need for stimulation, through physiotherapy techniques in the aquatic environment to enhance their psychomotor development.
The Center for Sports, Health and Leisure "Move" is willing to provide its facilities to provide this service offering the possibility of developing a total of 48 monthly sessions, either in individual therapy or couples.
Thus, the Department of Social Welfare has authorized the expenditure resulting from the participation of minors who intend priority in this program.
So it is set at a maximum of nine students in individual session and six in session pairs, or another number and distribution provided they do not exceed the limits budgeted under the Town Hall and credit available for this exercise.
