During the last year and a half we have experienced public demonstrations in our City, as was removing the flag of Spain in the square of the Constitution and the abolition of the celebration of the act of Hispanidad, we have been claiming by filing motions to the full, through public demonstrations, so that these principles defended themselves and we have been seeing throughout this year as such motions were not supported by the current government.
Many neighbors we represent, and both it and us, we are proud to be totaneros, Murcia and above all we are proud to be Spanish.
We should not be ashamed, as happens to some, anything or feel self-conscious about being Spanish.
It is not a question of flags but what it symbolizes and represents for Democrats and lovers of the Spanish Constitution of 1978.
The Municipal People's Party and the PP of Totana, like last year will return to celebrate a simple tribute to the flag, to the fallen and recognition of the Forces of State Security for defending freedom and values constitutional.
We invite all citizens who want this holiday to go and join us in this symbolic act.
We want to celebrate an act unapologetic, no need to be held with fanfare but celebrate it, because it is a request of many totaneros and is celebrated in many towns and cities in Spain, there have been many neighbors that protect and defend the freedoms and rights behind this symbol, national insignia.
Our flag symbolizes the constitutional Spain, open, tolerant and caring from which all can be proud to be part and that has cost us so much to get here, thanks to the work and effort of several generations of Spaniards.
TOTANA THE PP held on OCTOBER 12 AN ACT IN TRIBUTE TO THE FLAG OF SPAIN AND TERRITORIAL COHESION
Totana People's Party held on October 12 at 11:00, Columbus Day coinciding with the Festival del Pilar, a tribute to the flag of Spain and territorial cohesion.
An act that has been taking place for some years and so far by municipal governments but to events and public demonstrations that have lived in recent weeks in our City and our city by public leaders.
The Municipal People's Party and the Popular Party of Totana want to keep alive, simply, this solemn act for what it means and what it entails.
"We want to celebrate without fuss but also complex because it is a request of society, for it is celebrated in many towns and cities in Spain and, most importantly, because we have asked many neighbors of Totana and because many people that protect and defend the freedoms and rights behind this symbol, logo national.
This act is an "open and pluralistic" initiative which are invited to join all citizens of Totana to dignify the national flag and remember the constitutional principles that it symbolizes.
We want to take this opportunity to encourage totaneros, who so wish, to display the national flag on their balconies next day on October 12.
Tribute to the deceased
In addition it will be a tribute to the offering of a laurel wreath in honor of those who died at the foot of the Temple of Santa Eulalia.
