The Popular Party of Totana requested the visit of the Minister of Public Works and Infrastructure Pedro Rivera to Totana to inform neighbors about the initiation and development of the rehabilitation of the RM-C8 road to be aware of the award of such works, being the commitment it made the director General of Highways on behalf of the director with neighbors in the month of May keep them informed.

From the Municipal People's Party and considering the poor condition in which is the way, we felt that with a game of that amount could not make a deal of it, not even a simple patched, as to deterioration it is very important and the length of the track could not solve the problems of the road and so I transmit to the Director of Public Works and Infrastructure which gave immediate response to the request of the motion of the Popular Party, initiating the tender dossier works contemplating the full rehabilitation of the RM-C8 as requested by the PP of Totana ..

For several years, the City Ruled by the Popular Party has sued the Autonomous Community rehabilitation of this road, and we can say that in response to the crisis that we have gone through, it has been virtually impossible to rehabilitate it, but we are connoisseurs in addition to expressing the commitment of the former Minister of Public Works Bernabe Francisco last May 2015, the existence of a project for the rehabilitation of the firm and forecourt of the ctra.

RM-C8, which was drafted by the CARM for 2007 and which was subsequently updated in 2014, in which the necessary actions were collected to correct deficiencies in a comprehensive manner and responded to the request of the City Council to rehabilitation of it, this project had a budget of 1.029.012,33 € VAT included.

Given that the RM-C8 main function is to serve the houses and farms on both sides of it and for some years is the main access to the important archaeological site of the Bastida, which receives numerous sightseeing, remains more urgent the need to rehabilitate this road, but we consider it very important to proceed with a complete works and that it is not a little patch that is what could be done with the item indicated by the PSOE in the assembly of 100.000,00 €.
