From the "Labor 2.0: Youth Guarantee" project, conducted by the Collective for Social Promotion El Candil and funded by the European Social Fund under the Operational Programme for Youth Employment, and the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, through the Murciano Institute of Social Action, it is reported to have completed the two occupational training activities that were scheduled for this first edition of the project, which began last December 2015.
Through this project it is intended that the young beneficiaries of the National System of Youth Guarantee the Bajo Guadalentín (Totana, Aledo, Alhama de Murcia, Librilla and Mazarrón), eligible to participate in the Labor 2.0, can benefit an individualized itinerary of labor insertion, training and other actions, enabling them to improve their employability and get promote their social and professional integration or to resume studies or consider further expanding their training.
From the "Labor 2.0: Youth Guarantee" project has conducted two occupational training activities with which it was intended that the young participants acquire skills adapted to the content offered.
These two occupational formations have been:
Auxiliary activities in nurseries, gardens and garden centers.
Activities auxiliary warehouse.
The first training that was given was "Auxiliary Activities in nurseries, gardens and garden centers", with a total of 120 hours of teaching of specific theoretical and practical training in this area.
It began on March 7, 2016 and ended on 24 May 2016. This vocational training was intended that young participants, who were a total of 17, learn to run ancillary operations for the implementation and maintenance of gardens, parks and green areas, as well as for the production and maintenance of plants in nurseries and garden centers, following instructions from superiors or work plan, meeting the prevention of occupational hazards, quality and environmental protection.
Due to the collaboration agreement made between the Collective The Candle and the Department of City Maintenance and Infrastructure Hon.
City of Totana, young people were able to make practices contained in those who had been trained in the municipal nursery, parks and gardens.
Young participants received this training could perform occupations or jobs: farm laborer, gardening, nursery pawn, pawn garden centers.
The second of the training that was given was "Activities auxiliary warehouse" with a total of 150 hours of theoretical and practical teaching.
It began on April 28, 2016 and ended on 22 July 2016. The overall competition was intended that young participants to acquire, once the training was to be able to perform auxiliary operations warehouse, receiving, deconsolidation, location basic preparation and issuance of loading and unloading, in a coordinated manner or in teams, under the supervision of a responsible, following the instructions, and applying the appropriate procedures and equipment, in terms of productivity and compliance with safety regulations, health and risks prevention.
In this training they involved a total of 19 young people.
They obtained, following practices specialist, the forklift driving license.
With this training these young people could perform occupations or jobs related to each other with: waiters / as loading and unloading, storage and / or food market, carter, packers / as, packagers / labelers / as, by hand, coach / a order, operator / a logistics.
In both formations young participants were given, in addition to the specific contents of the subject matter, training activities aimed at the acquisition of technological skills of information and communication (40 hours), language training, English basic level (40 hours ), training in equal opportunities and non-discrimination (4 hours) and gender equality (4 hours), which was obtained in the latter, for training delivery, collaboration by the professionals of the Center for Specialized Care women Victims of Gender Violence Ayto. of Totana.
The young participants were mostly residents of the municipality of Totana but there were three participants in the municipality of Alhama de Murcia.
