Councillors for Citizen Participation, Agustin Gonzalo Martinez and Youth, Inmaculada Blazquez, presented today the program "Jail Training" for the period between October this year and next June me;
It is containing a total of 40 activities including courses, workshops and lectures, of which 33 are addressed especially to adults and seven children.
In this training program, a total of eight entities involved, including associations and specialized professionals in different subjects to be taught.
These associations and professionals in their day presented a proposal for training activities within the call that the City of Totana held last June.
The courses are offered covering different topics: 9 courses related to new technologies and audiovisual communication (courses Computer & Internet, Adobe Photoshop and Digital Photography), a course on Introduction to Sign Language, and a program called " Stay Active "whose content is related to the development of a healthy lifestyle.
Which will start from January.
New this year a series of talks related primarily to educational and psychological aspects is organized, with a total of 12 conferences held every two weeks on Mondays from October to April.
The workshops offered are Emotional Intelligence and Social Skills, Dance Post-Modern "Butoh" Painting Adult, Embroidery, Dressmaking, Patchwork and Conversation in French for adults (with native speaker)
In addition, regarding children's activities are features Children's Art workshops.
Painting and Sculpture, Introduction to Theatre, Introduction to Needle, Creative Leisure, Emotional Intelligence and Social Skills, School Organization associated with cognitive stimulation and basic French.
The program also includes other activities organized directly by associations and developed in other parts of the municipality.
These activities are a Biodanza workshop organized by the Growing Association for Bilingual Ludoteca Amarnos and to children / as between 3 and 8 years organized by the Association Diversi-on.
As explained by the Selectmen, the purpose of this program is to offer citizens a wide and varied training offer, trying to respond to the demand in the municipality in the field of training and leisure time.
Throughout the season they will be added new courses and workshops on different subjects in order to continue meeting the demands and proposals which they arise citizens and associations.
The council appreciated the invaluable collaboration of associations and professionals involved in this program since its involvement has been fundamental.
These entities are associations SonImagina, serendipity, Light Box, Cuentorrey, the Collective for Social Promotion El Candil, Awake, John Lucas and Bethlehem Canovas Andreo Maria Valenzuela.
