Within its program Termalismo, the Association of Parents of Persons with Intellectual Disability Totana, PADISITO, held this past Saturday June 25th a visit to a seaside resort located in La Azohía.
The objective of the program is that during these outings, users can benefit from the thermal properties of saline water in this case, while also posing a playful and development and promotion of their own autonomy activity.
This time they have been thirteen PADISITO users who have participated in this activity, accompanied by a group of volunteers and family, as these activities are also open to family members who wish to participate in them.
Thus, it also offers families an alternative space that breaks the daily routine care of the dependent person, and provides tools that facilitate social relations and power.
As always, the day passed in a relaxed atmosphere with a fun audience participation, where there was room for the bathroom and a later meal.
From PADISITO, thank all the people who partiparon in this activity facilitating and improving the quality of life of our collective, and contributing to the full inclusion of our users.
