municipal authorities and teachers have recently closed the Occupational Classroom school year, remedial education program in which participated sixteen students of Secondary Education

The event was held in the Socio-Cultural Center "Jail" after delivery of qualifications and diplomas to young participants;

and in the same part the mayor, Juan Jose Canovas, Councillor for Education Eulalia Moreno, and the director of IES "Juan de la Cierva" Juan Francisco Otálora.

A year, Totana Town Council and the Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities have enabled the development of this program has been done in this county for several years.

The Occupational Classroom was developed on the premises of Centro Sociocultural "Jail" in hours 8:15 to 14:20 pm, Monday through Friday.

Participants in the program students have received training from a team of teachers employed by the Ministry of Education;

in which it has been combined with a basic education within the scope of Cuisine and Pastry IVT.

In addition to this training, students have participated throughout the course in different complementary activities around specific themes: social skills and conflict resolution, multiculturalism, affective-sexual education, drug prevention, prevention of gender violence, workshops cyberbullying, photography, graffiti, celebration of commemorative days, visiting companies and so on.

During the closure, the municipal authorities and teachers have praised the work done by teachers and students, and encouraged these to not to miss the opportunity to improve their personal and professional training to qualify in the future for a job .

It has also been conveyed to them the importance of incorporating into their lives the effort and perseverance to get everything they want and has urged them not to be satisfied with what they have and aspire to form more and better.

All have thanked teachers and technical team that has coordinated the work program the importance of this program as a liaison for continuity in the educational system, and more specifically to participate in a program of Basic Training.
