The first deputy mayor, Andres Garcia, announced that the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia (BORM) published today the rehabilitation of the pavement and forecourt of the RM-C8 road known as Las Viñas-Carivete, with a budget total of 1,032,844.777 euros and a deadline of five months from the start of them.
The notice includes the announcement of the project by the Ministry of Public Works and Infrastructure, which includes the settlement of the eight-kilometer stretch.
Andres Garcia, who also manages the Department of Roads, expressed his satisfaction on behalf of the municipal government, to realize a project that was being sued in the Autonomous Region for years by neighbors and the City;
and will realize in this legislature.
He also explained the procedure and steps it has taken the current municipal government team with the Highways Agency and the parliamentary groups in the Regional Assembly to effect a budget that will allow this project to materialize.
He also said that the design of this infrastructure will allow to respond to the historical claims and transit conditions with the archaeological site "La Bastida" and all the farms that surround it.
