The Department of Works and Municipal Infrastructure is building these days a sidewalk to facilitate access and ensure the safety of pedestrians, mostly students at CEIP "Luis Perez Rueda" in the neighborhood of the Tirol-Camilleri.
The works are being undertaken this week and run at the request of AMPA and the management team's own educational institution, according to the councilor of this department, Victor Balsas.
The mayor explains that the idea of this new infrastructure is to prevent school, and users in general, pass through the same space that make cars causing great danger to pedestrians at times in and out of school.
In addition, Balsas notes that the Department is also working to desafectar the cattle route that outputs the training center in order to prepare it and asfaltarla, in order to further improve access and traffic near the school.
He said this process will extend further in time for all the requirements under the Autonomous Community totanero Consistory.
