Popular Municipal Group will propose to the full month of May, among others, a motion that the City perform the necessary steps in order to enable users to make payment service ORA (parking in blue zone) by an application from the mobile phone.
In the municipality of Totana is implemented the service of the ORA, which exist around some 30 streets with more than 200 beds in the main streets of town, this service was launched to organize the parking areas higher density of traffic.
The control is divided into two categories;
the area of ​​general use (zone blue), where all vehicles pay parking time with a maximum of two hours, for which there are machines / parking meters installed in different streets where the ticket for parking is obtained on payment stipulated rate and resident (orange), where residents can park provided with distinctive without time limit and without getting parking ticket vending machines, in addition to the spaces reserved for the disabled.
Regulated parking hours are 10:00 to 14:00 and 17:00 to 20:00 pm on weekdays remain free on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays;
while during August no service.
By proposing that the Municipal People presented to the full, users could manage service payment ORA from your mobile phone, with the benefits to the user in addition to the convenience of not having to approach the vending machines of tickets, the possibility of extending the parking time with the moving from the place where it is (a restaurant, an office, a gym, medical office, bank, etc.);
the option of reducing the time paid initially when removing the car (the driver has paid for parking 90 minutes, but just going to need really 67 and the application will allow you to adjust the payment and save those 23 minutes more that will not be used);
or even the possibility of also paying the fines through the same system.
This application is based on making payments to park the vehicle by a digital application that will make it unnecessary to approach the parking meters to get the ticket.
Payment with the phone allow some advantages as enlarge or reduce the parking time initially requested.
From the Popular Party we believe that the payment of parking spaces controlled through the phone is "modernity", "comfort" and "savings" for citizens using the "blue zone".
Thanks to the application download, mobile phone integrates the functions of a parking meter with options to park without leaving proof in the vehicle, 'unpark' complaints ring, reload money, check operations and a history of them.
Like great advantage of this mechanism only "paid time used".
It is paid only for the actual parking time, since the option 'unpark' allows you to recover any unused minutes.
This is a very simple management for downloading the application on the phone, so that an e-mail, mobile phone number and valid means of payment is required only;
credit / debit card or PayPal.
The application geoposicionará the location of the car and thus know which sector and what rate of the ORA has to apply.
The driver can use this system with different cars using their matrículas- introducing field.
All this will be presented by the Popular Party this next plenary session in order to provide the residents of our town the best conditions to increase their quality of life.
