The Ministry of Economic Development, Tourism Development and Employment, through the Regional Employment Service and Training (SEF), 280,000 euros financed various programs to improve employment in the municipality of Totana.
SEF director, Alejandro Zamora, held today with the Mayor of Totana, Juan José Canovas, a meeting in which the actions that the City Council will launch with the aid granted by the Employment and Training Service of the Region analyzed.
The municipality will receive 164,487 euros to encourage activity, improve and promote the employment of unemployed workers, through performances, distributed in four local public employment programs, which include employing 13 people.
Specifically, eight workers will be hired for a project to improve horizontal signaling in the urban area, and other cleaning, clearing and maintenance at the entrances to the archaeological site of La Bastida.
Similarly, it will hire five young unemployed, beneficiaries of the National Youth Guarantee System, which provide administrative support to different areas of City Hall and the municipal maintenance.
On training for employment, the Consistory develop a course of assembly and maintenance of electrical installations low voltage, primarily aimed at unemployed workers and subsidized by the SEF with 82,000 euros.
Totana unemployed also benefit from a project for training and job placement for long-term unemployed, over 45 years, auxiliary operations and covered masonry and factories.
