The Mayor of Totana, Juan José Canovas, accompanied by the managing director of the Instituto Murciano Social Action (IMAS), Miguel Angel Miralles, and the councilman of Youth, Inmaculada Blazquez, presented the diplomas of participation in various courses taught from the Collective for Social Promotion "the Candle" in the framework of the project "Labor: a step towards employability" and "Labor 2.0 Youth Guarantee" which are funded by the European Social Fund and the Murciano Institute of Social Action.
In particular, certificates of participation were given in the various courses offered since October under the Labor Project: two years of basic training job search and skills improvement, one of ancillary activities agriculture, another storekeeper-reponedor another food handler and two monographic workshops on equal opportunities and non-discrimination and critical media analysis.
In addition, in this event the participation and collaboration was recognized entities have collaborated in the implementation of the project, as have been Agrotaw Murcia SL, Sociedad Cooperativa Consum, Primaflor, Viveros Bermejo, Tales of Grimm and the Office of Totana Regional Service on Employment and Training, as well as various councils for their involvement.
The Labor Project: A step towards employability, 2015-16 edition closed yesterday, has treated 110 people, as explained by the social worker of the Candil Eva Leon, who noted that in total, since its launch launched in 2007 have been 470 people who have gone through it and participated in some of the various activities undertaken either in training or career counseling.
On the other hand, also it made or presented the diplomas to the participants in two courses of personal and social skills, techniques, job search and key competencies, under the Labor Project 2.0 Youth Guarantee, with the participation of thirty people.
The social educator Jesus Amoros wanted to emphasize that the Labor 2.0 Youth Guarantee project is carried out in the region of Guadalentín and which now are also developing a course of ancillary activities in nurseries, gardens and garden centers and other ancillary activities store, both with a duration of 208 hours and 17 young participation in each.
Miralles was grateful to the City Council for their collaboration with employability as well as their social vocation.

The mayor, for his part, thanked the IMAS their collaboration, as well as professionals El Candil and institutions and companies that have been involved and encouraged students of these programs, who praised him for his interest in form and bet on job search.
