Next Friday, May 13 at 20,3h.
organized by the Cultural Center and Workers Totana, is hosting a talk entitled "The 1207 Summary Judgment and condemns democracy in Totana" by Alfonso Cayuela Martinez, a scholar of contemporary history of our people and it will be held in the basement of the Centre for the Elderly (Balsa Vieja Square).
The rapporteur brings to light something hitherto unknown, which is the summary military trial which took place at the end of the Civil War in Totana.
This is the 1207 process, which is undoubtedly the hardest situation in the history of this municipality and will end with the shooting which took place on 19 October 1939 of 11 neighbors of Totana and Aledo.
You want to face this military process from the perspective of historical memory with all its rawness as a wound to be healed and closed, without revanchism.
It is then a political process where convicted three mayors of Totana, one of them to death and leaders of the main democratic parties and trade unions of the population.
No doubt all this will be very interesting to know by citizens of Totana.
