The calendar of festivals in neighborhoods and districts of Totana this summer runs from early June until early October that will end with the celebration of San Francisco in the urbanization "El Parral", with a total of 17 celebrations spread over the weekends all summer.
Councilman Celebration, Agustin Gonzalo Martinez, presented the playbill to be distributed in order to publicize the holidays and dates distributed throughout next summer.
The festivities begin from 3 to 5 June with the celebration that the Kiss of Judas Brotherhood organized in the square that will bear his name, which is popularly known as the "Fiesta del Mojito".
The last weekend of June 24 to 26, tear the celebrations in neighborhoods with the Olympic-Pears-Station-Triptolemos, to be held at the Vasco de Gama Street, next to the building of the School Room.
That same weekend, from 23 to 26 June, the celebrations of the district of San Juan in El Pareton be held.
The first weekend of July, from 1 to 3, are Lebor parties;
and the next, 8 and 9 July, the Carivete Viñas.
In addition, on July 9, the Brotherhood of Veronica organize its traditional summer holiday next to the headquarters of the brotherhood.
July includes the parties of the Las Lomas Paretón from 15 to 17 July;
and El Raiguero Bajo, from 22 to 24 this month.
August will begin with the festivities, from 5 to 7 August in La Costera-Norica, in Old Road Majuelo;
and El Alto Raigero in the forecourt of the church of Santo Domingo de Guzman.
The exhibition center will host the Paretón-Cantareros from 12 to 16 August the traditional celebrations of this parish in honor of the Virgin;
and 12 to 14 are those of San Roque in the square of the hermitage of this totanero neighborhood.
August festivities will conclude with La Paloma in La Breeches, from 19 to 21 this month.
In addition, from 2 to 4 September, will be those of St. Joseph in the square of the hermitage of the neighborhood;
9 to 11 the La Huerta;
and 16 and 17 the Santa Leocadia.
The schedule of festivities in neighborhoods and districts will conclude the weekend of 31 September to 2 October with San Francisco in the neighborhood that takes its name and urbanization "El Parral" and The Ramblica, respectively.
The councilor thanked all the neighborhood associations and social groups their involvement in this calendar of festivals that are part of the cultural heritage of Totana, as well as the Local Police and Civil Protection for their involvement to realize them.
Also, the mayor of the City Council that the provision is merely in terms of logistics and infrastructure and reiterated its appreciation to the social and cultural fabric that organizes the festivities throughout the summer that becomes an attraction for residents and visitors.
