The Local Government Board has recently approved the cooperation agreement between the City of Totana and the Association of Civil Protection Volunteers 2016 amounting to 55,000 euros, 12,000 euros are for the provision of ambulance in events municipal and the remaining 43,000 in aid to cover the costs incurred in conducting special services.
The agreement is until 31 December this year and, in addition, the council is obliged to make available to the Association of Civil Protection Volunteers of Totana ambulance owned by the local authority.
The council has asked the regional government funding for a new ambulance for Civil Protection in Totana from October 2016;
so if granted, it would be adapted to this date prorated municipal financing and the Autonomous Region the rest of the year.
Civil Protection has among its main objectives, collaborate with the city to provide assistance on citizen security, making numerous performances, among which collaboration in different social, sporting and humanitarian events that are held in this municipality.
The objective of this agreement is the collaboration between the two entities to ensure the participation of Civil Defence volunteers in the services that are being developed in Totana.
