Some 360 ​​students of 6th of Primary Education of the eight schools in Totana participated today in the School Olympiad, an activity that is organized by the Department of Sports and has the support of teachers of Physical Education in schools.
The activity was held at the Polideportivo Municipal "December 6" between 09:30 and 13:00 am in collaboration with schools in the town where the Olympic rituals such as the parade took place by all teams -Schools and the lighting of the Olympic cauldron, which was conducted by the Councillor for Sports, Maria Isabel Molino.
The event began with the return to the stadium by the participating schools that represented the different countries of the world, and the back lighting of the Olympic cauldron.
Students participated in various sports activities scheduled, such as sprints, high jump, shot put, long jump and javelin, among others.
The council welcomed back to celebrate an activity of these features and thanked the PE teachers from schools holding their involvement in this initiative.
