The City of Alhama de Murcia has been interested in the operation of the Special Employment Centre Totana (CEDETO) to study the possible implementation of a similar entity in this municipality in order to favor, similarly, outplacement and social disability.
To do this, the mayor of Alhama de Murcia, Diego Conesa, met yesterday with the alderman of Totana, Juan José Canovas, and Council of Human Resources Maria Gertrudis Ruiz, and President of CEDETO Agustin Gonzalo Martinez and manager this municipal company, Eduardo Cabezas.
The mayor of Alhama de Murcia, who was also accompanied by municipal technicians of the Consistory, was interested in the management model to evaluate CEDETO creation and operation in the municipality.
In addition, information was collected about their structure, organization and provision of personal and social adjustment;
and even the possibility of future collaboration between the two special employment centers was assessed and in Murcia also CEDETO can perform jobs.
Currently, CEDETO employs 45 workers who perform different tasks and custodial services in schools, messaging, customer service, access control, driver to transport elderly or disabled, among others.
The special employment centers are entities whose main objective is to carry out a productive activity of goods or services, participating regularly in market operations, and are intended for securing gainful employment of people with disabilities.
