Local Police Totana, in an activity launched by the area of Drug Dependence of the Department of Social Welfare, has organized a series of lectures at showing parents how to act against drug use among youth.
During the conversation which was held in the hamlet of El Paretón and with the participation of the Association of Parents of College Guadalentín and associations of the area, visitors could learn more about substances that can eat their children as cocaine or hashish.
The coordinator of the Canine Unit and local police in drug addiction municipal technician gave participants the keys to detect drug use, prevention and the consequences it can have on the health of such consumption.
The councilman of Social Welfare, Juan Carrión, explained that with such initiatives directly to the parents see how they are drugs, because they could directly see samples thereof, can be detected and prevented through the drug education.
This activity is framed within the Municipal Drug Plan was completed with the delivery of material from the Ministry of Health which explains the consequences of these substances in the body.
