[They repair the road surface of several sections of the N-340 that connects Totana and Alhama, which was in a state of significant deterioration (14/07/2021)

The Department of Works, Infrastructures and Services to the City is undertaking during this week the rehabilitation works of the firm of several sections of the N-340 road in the municipality of Totana, whose award budget amounts to 32,800.68 euros. The works are being undertaken by the company Transportes Europeos del Campo de Cartagena SL, a total of 19 construction companies attended the bidding process. The works began at the beginning of this week and will partially alleviate the deficiencies of this busy road that connects Alhama de Murcia and Totana, which is in a state of significant deterioration in some sections of the Totana term. The actions consist of milling the damaged firm layer with a thickness of five centimeters for its removal, irrigation of adhesion with asphalt emulsion, including preparation and sweeping of the surface and hot bituminous mixture rolling layer.

In addition, the corresponding horizontal marking will be repainted. Basically, it concerns the repair of the road surface that connects Totana and Alhama de Murcia, in different sections, due to the state of deterioration that the road surface presents in the section corresponding to the municipality of Totana.
