| A total of 18 commercial establishments from Totana have participated in the sixth edition of the contest | Pasteler a El Sereno, Florister a Riquelme and Mundo Piñata have won, in this order, the VI Christmas Shop Windows Contest, organized by the Department of Culture, in order to promote the creativity of merchants to the time to present their establishments and products during these Christmas festivities.In addition, this municipal department has also granted on this occasion an acc sit of 75 euros to the establishments Peluquer a Por los Pelos, La Despensa de Lu sy Fashions Euphoria. This year the number of prizes had been expanded as well as the amount of each of them; establishing the following prizes: 1st prize of 300 euros, 2nd prize of 200 euros, 3rd prize of 150 euros and three acc sits for the amount indicated each. The Councilor for Culture, Ver nica Carricondo, has delivered the recognition to the winners and accesits that this year collected the new bases of the contest, with more substantial prizes than in previous editions. The initiative aims to contribute to creating a special festive atmosphere, on such special dates, in the streets of the municipality, despite the difficult circumstances of the context due to the pandemic that is causing so much damage to the commerce and hospitality sectors.

In it, all those commercial establishments located in the municipality of Totana could participate, regardless of the product that they offered to the consumer; and finally a total of 18 businesses of different kinds have done so. It was only required that the decoration of the shop windows be directly related to the atmosphere of the Christmas Parties, valuing aspects such as artistic creation (originality, ingenuity and artistic richness), materials used, composition and effort and diligence in the execution of the works, as in previous years. The jury made visits to the registered establishments on December 15 and 16, during business opening hours; and last night the mayor delivered the awards to the awarded businesses. This has been made up of the Councilor for Culture and two people with recognized experience in this area; in this case, Lorenzo Moreno Montero and Arantzazu Campos S iz, respectively. The participating businesses have been Guevara Farma Sucursal 3, It Boutique, Guevara Fama Sucursal 1, Peluquer a and Est tica Chone Ruiz, Pierrot Floristas, Rahelec, Mundo Piñata, Peluquer a Por los Pelos, Riquelme Floristas, Peluquer a Fashion, Euphoria, The pleasure of cake, Mar a Luisa Modas, Florister a Juani, La Despensa de Lu s, Boutique Rango, Hairdresser Ana Garro and Pasteler a El Sereno.
