The Councilor for Commerce, Javier Baños, presents the campaign "Your consumption in Totana", an initiative by which the City Council places in the hands of freelancers and businessmen from the commerce and hospitality sectors of the municipality bonds of 5 euros each , for a total amount of 100,000 euros. The deadline for submitting applications will be 5 business days from the day following the publication of the announcement of the call in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia (BORM ). The purpose of this aid is to protect the general interest, acting directly on the natural and legal persons most affected to face this extraordinary situation caused by COVID-19 in order to prevent them from originating irreversible economic and social consequences for the inhabitants of the municipality and to try to produce a reactivation of the local economy as soon as possible, avoiding that the economic and social impact is prolonged over time. The purpose of these bases is to establish the special rules governing the direct granting of subsidies to the commerce and hospitality sector for their reactivation through the granting of financial aid in the form of bonuses applicable to your customers. In particular, the reasons of public interest that justify the direct granting of subsidies are specified in fundamental issues for the development of the commerce and hospitality sector of Totana, minimizing the economic effects derived from the situation.
