The Day Center for people with intellectual disabilities "José Moyá" and the Day Center for people with mental illness, have joined the celebration of the International Day of People with Disabilities, which on December 3 is celebrated throughout the world, and that this year it bears the slogan "One day for all", because disability is part of the human condition.Although it has been an especially difficult year for all people with disabilities and their families, both Day Centers have been working so that both users and their families were cared for and did not feel alone at any time.During the state of alarm, and the time that the Centers have been closed, professionals have reinvented themselves and looked for ways to reach all users, with new technologies: Telephone, whatsapp, facebook, classroom, and home deliveries.With the in-person opening of the Centers, new challenges were presented, and all the necessary adjustments have been made to guarantee the safety and health of all, starting with the cleaning and conditioning of spaces, development of outdoor activities, small and alternate groups, adapted activities, continuous disinfection and cleaning tasks ...The professional group of the Totana City Council Day Centers, we want to express our solidarity towards all people with disabilities in our municipality and our commitment to continue working to offer the best care to all users, always putting the safety and health of everybody.FACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/centrosdediatotana/Watch video:https://www.facebook.com/Ay AyuntamientodeTotana/posts/3304961096298540
