The Mayor's Office Resolution processed last Tuesday, after consulting the representatives of the political groups that unanimously supported this package of measures, allows that from this week many freelancers and companies in the municipality have already received the requested income. These are municipal grants that come from the contingency fund requested by the mayor. From Ganar Totana we highlight that given the dates on which these entries are made, Totana becomes one of the first municipalities in the Region of Murcia to pay this type of aid to its applicants. The bases were approved unanimously in the extraordinary plenary session of May 21, 2020, and in the Valuation Committee in session held on November 12, 2020, in compliance with the provisions of the Ninth Base, section 6, it was finally raised the proposed agreement for approval. These municipal aid are based on the budget requested by the mayor through the contingency fund, which provided the coffers with this important amount to help the municipal productive fabric to face the crisis.
This credit of € 300,000 has been the figure to take into account, as well as the limits established for the different types of Aid to be granted that distinguish between the Activities that have been affected by the closure of establishments (Section A) and the Activities that are susceptible of having been able to continue to develop despite the closure to the public of its premises, or that lack premises, (Section B), whose aid is 30% lower than those included in section A.Likewise, these amounts have been increased by 30% in the case of having up to 9 workers (-10) and by 70% in the case of having between 10 and 49 workers (+10) ..
"We celebrate that since this week many of our freelancers and companies have received this important bonus to maintain the stability of their businesses in times of uncertainty in the face of the Covid-19 crisis.
